SVVOR Receives Generous Building Donation from Highlight Healthcare

New Women’s Sober Living Home and Future Detox Center to Transform Recovery Support in Rock Falls

Rock Falls, IL — Sauk Valley Voices of Recovery (SVVOR) is thrilled to announce a remarkable donation from Highlight Healthcare gifting two buildings located at 430 Martin Road in Rock Falls, Illinois. These properties will serve as a vital cornerstone in expanding recovery services in the Sauk Valley area.

One building will house Cledy’s House of Hope, a women’s sober living home and the newest brand in SVVOR’s Legacy Sober Living Homes. Dedicated to supporting women on their journey to recovery, this home honors the memory of Cledy Rumley, mother of SVVOR’s Chief Operations Officer and Peer Mentor, Lauren Metzler. The home is expected to open its doors in the first quarter of 2025, offering 42 beds and a safe and supportive environment for women seeking stability and sobriety.

The second building, located on the same parcel, is being evaluated for its potential to serve as a detox or treatment facility, providing critical services for individuals struggling with substance use disorders.

Joseph Tsadok, CEO of Highlight Healthcare, shared, ““It’s my privilege and honor to be a part of SVVOR’s growth and am excited this location will serve as a beacon of hope for the community.”

“This gift from Highlight Healthcare is more than a donation—it’s a lifeline,” said Gerald Lott, Executive Director of SVVOR. “These buildings represent a profound opportunity to meet the growing needs of our community and to honor the resilience and strength of those in recovery.”

For Lauren Metzler, this project is deeply personal. “Cledy’s House of Hope is a dream come true and a tribute to my mom, Cledy Rumley, who believed deeply in the power of community and healing,” said Metzler.

“She was one of the most empathetic, compassionate, and caring people I’ve ever known. Her laugh could light up a room, and she always inspired those around her to believe in themselves. Knowing that her legacy will live on through the women who find hope and recovery within these walls is incredibly meaningful to me and my family.”

SVVOR remains committed to creating safe, supportive spaces for individuals in recovery and ensuring access to the resources they need to thrive. The organization will continue to collaborate with community partners and donors to finalize plans for the detox or treatment facility, expanding its ability to serve the Sauk Valley community.
